What is Share?
Share is a private, not-for-profit organization that builds and strengthens communities through volunteer service. We offer up to 50% savings on nutritious food packages. Everyone who volunteers just 2 hours a month in their community is welcome to participate. We have no other income or eligibility guidelines.

We select items that you're most likely to buy at the grocery store, including fresh fruits, vegetables, and frozen meats. Through a national affiliate network, we purchase massive quantities of these items at very low prices. Then through a network of volunteers at our warehouse and distribution centers, known as "Host Sites", we deliver orders to be picked up by you. At no time do we accept donated food for distribution.

Volunteer Opportunities

Any service given to non-household members is eligible volunteer service. Some examples of volunteer involvement include helping with:

• Local SHARE site activities

• Church activities

• Hospital and Nursing homes

• Schools and Libraries

• Food Pantries

• Youth programs and organizations

• Home delivered meals

• Human Service Agencies

• Service Organizations

• Friendly visits

• Friends and neighbors

(providing transportation, shoveling snow, mowing lawns, running errands, and numerous others.
